THE CONCEPT

The concept behind this project is to explore how type can be removed from its conventional context of written language. By collaging, manipulating, and abstracting isolated letter-forms, typography can communicate something other than words.

This project takes the form of a sixteen page accordion fold and focuses on rhythm, flow, and the relationship between the collected letterforms and the words of Robert Bringhurst.
